Department of Finance
The Department of Finance has two undergraduate majors in finance and insurance, an academic master's degree in finance, a professional master's degree in finance, a master's degree in insurance, and a part-time master's degree in finance, and a doctoral programs in applied economics, focusing on financial market and institutional innovation. The department currently has 25 teachers, including 9 professors, 11 associate professors, 5 lecturers, 3 doctoral supervisor, 21 master supervisors. 85% of them have obtained doctorate degrees. We have presided over 6 national social science funds, and more than 20 provincial and ministerial-level projects, constructed 1 national off-campus college student practice base, published more than 20 monographs and textbooks, more than 200 academic papers, won over 10 awards, such as the Hebei Province Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award, Baoding City Social Science Achievement Award, Hebei Provincial Finance Association and etc. Nearly one-third of undergraduates became postgraduates or went abroad for further studies, and many have become the backbone of commercial banks, securities companies, investment companies, and industrial and commercial enterprises.
